The Power Of A Clean Registry

A registry is critical to your PC because it keeps your system running very smoothly. It stores all the information and settings relating to your software and hardware, as well as a host of other settings required by Windows XP.  It’s time for you to discover the power of a clean registry!

With a clean registry there is generally three parts. The first part handles all the files that are associated with software. The second part handles the deleting of unwanted files to create more memory space. Finally the third part deals with software that has actually been used by you and loaded onto the computer.

When you use registry repair software it deals with files and formats, and the  removing all entries and data that is either irrelevant or corrupt, which helps with processing and the opening files becomes much faster. By cleaning all the file paths of all this unnecessary data the computer is able to locate the information in the registry much faster and thus your computer runs much faster.

There are several excellent registry repair software programs on the market.  You can do some research online to see what each has to offer.  There are a few things that you should make sure the program has.

The registry repair software needs to do a backup before it does anything to your registry, and it should have an easy way for you to undo any changes should they not go according to plan.  That way you don’t need to panic if something was deleted that shouldn’t have been, or if your computer begins to act oddly.  You should also make sure the program you choose is compatible with the version of Windows you are running.

Most registry repair programs are fairly automated and do not require constant babysitting by you.  The registry repair software will do it’s scan, repair and clean what needs to be done, and then reboot Windows for you automatically.  Registry repair will also defrag your registry removing any blank spaces, which will slow your computer down.

Another common registry problem is Spyware and viruses, which will attack the registry and affect keys where data is stored.  Some of these nasty bugs will track your every move and then report back to somebody, which is a threat to your system and your personal information.  Thankfully your registry repair software will take care of these pesky bugs too.

Once you discover the power of a clean registry you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it before.

A Healthy Registry Means A Healthy Computer

These days we seem to hear a lot more about the Windows registry but begrudgingly we wonder “Do I really have to fix registry problems?”  The answer is absolutely!   I know sometimes it seems that all these little maintenance tasks we are suppose to do are just a waste of time, but that’s not so.  A healthy registry means a healthy computer.

If you do not take time to fix problems that arise in your registry or try to prevent them from happening in the first place, it won’t be long before your computer is running sluggish, freezing for no apparent reason, and then showing you the dreaded blue screen of death.

Using registry repair software to keep your registry flawless and stop system crashes from occurring is smart whether you use your computer for business or home.

It’s always harder to fix registry problems after they occur.  It’s much better to prevent them in the first place.  Although prevention is always the best plan of attack it’s not always that simple.  Whether you’ve owned your computer a day, a year, or a lifetime there are many reasons why the registry can become corrupt or littered causing all kinds of errors.

Here are just a few of the reasons why you might need to fix your registry using registry repair software.

  1. You install or uninstall software frequently
  2. You delete software that wasn’t properly installed
  3. You have Spyware embedded on your computer
  4. You have third party programs that revive themselves every time you power up.
  5. You have done a hardware install or uninstall
  6. You have drivers that aren’t being used and they are undeleted on your system.

With a new system you aren’t likely to notice that your registry needs repairing but over just a short period of time problems begin to develop and over a long period of time the problems get larger.

This is especially true with software drivers and hardware components that have either been added or removed from the system.  When many additions and deletions are made, the registry can sometimes get muddled and corrupt causing your system to crash.  In fact if you regularly make software or hardware changes it is critical that you run registry repair software at least once a month.  Even correctly uninstalling leaves registry remnants.

A healthy registry means a healthy computer.  And using registry repair software means you’ll have a healthy registry.

Are You Ready For The Rath Of Spyware On Your Registry?

Spyware is like a bad cold that you just can’t shake.  It will dump all kinds of irrelevant entries into the registry most times without you ever knowing it.  The question is, are you ready for the rath of Spyware o your registry?

When Spyware makes it’s entry onto your computer it adds information to the registry, puts files secretly onto your computer, creates tracking cookies in the temp folder, and even adds links to sites to your favorite folder without you knowing it.  Thankfully using good Spyware software and Registry Cleaner software can clean all of this off of your computer.

If you aren’t familiar with Spyware you should be – Spyware generally comes attached to a “free” download and it’s hidden.  If you carefully read the user agreement there will often be a reference to “third party,” which is code for “Spyware.”  Other times it is completely hidden.  Once it’s on your software it begins to record personal information about you, the sites you visit, and your buying habits.  Using Spyware and Registry Cleaner software will eliminate these “nasty bugs” from your computer.

How does Spyware affect your registry?  The registry is like a massive database where all the information is stored relating to each piece of software on your computer.  When your system boots the registry is checked for permissions that specific users have to the system.  Each time a new program is added to the computer, an entry is made to the registry.  But when you uninstall software these entries are not removed so you either must do it manually or use registry cleaner software.

Removing entries from the registry manually can be a bit scary because if you

Accordingly the operating system advances with the boot up process. Each time a new program or hardware is installed in the system a lot of information is added the system registry. However, when programs are uninstalled the registry remains intact. These links and references need to be removed manually or with special software such as free Adware Spyware removal tools or Windows XP cleaner software. It is not advisable to mess with the registry manually as this can wreck havoc with the system. Get a good reliable free Spyware and Virus removal utility if you have to, to do an efficient job for you. Spyware installs itself on the system and makes its entries in the registry as well. These entries are made in many places in the registry. So, uninstalling the Spyware from the programs folder is not enough, the ware must also be removed from the registry and there is no better way to do this than with a Microsoft Spyware removal tools.

Clean The Registry Once A Month

After some time the registry will become slow and erratic because of the useless entries that are not really needed and are just cluttering up the system. The system may even shut down without warning. This is because the registry has become unstable and needs to be cleaned with PC registry cleaner software. It is not necessary that the registry will become because of Spyware or viruses. It may just be too large for the processor or the system resources to handle.
